Academic Support
Our main focus is to provide a tutor for 1 or 2 hours a week in a subject that the student needs help. The tutoring is complementary to school work and will address any issues as they arise during the academic year, rather than letting them accumulate until nearer the exams.
We can also provide tutors to help with specific parts of the syllabus (e.g. algebra) for a limited number of lessons until the student overcomes their difficulties. Finally, there is the possibility of pre-exam revision sessions, going over past paper examples.
Powerful Software
Our service includes access to a user friendly IT system where lessons are scheduled in advance. The student is matched with the most appropriate tutor and short lesson reports are provided to the parents and students after every lesson. There are opportunities to provide feedback on the tutor and if there are any problems we will obtain a replacement tutor. Therefore the parents are part of the team that helps the student to achieve their potential and they will be able to monitor progress throughout the year.
Flexible Offering
We want to help all types of students. This includes students who just need some assistance to pass a specific exam to those students who are aiming for the top grades. Also, we can help with the student's overall approach to studying (planning, organisation, homework) if needed.
We offer home tutoring in person or online. Also, a hybrid approach is possible whereby a tutor will visit your home at regular intervals with the remaining lessons being online.
